BioSmiles for the Memories is a nonprofit group working to donate cleft
lip and palate repair operations through Operation Smile - www.operationsmile.org This is our LJ site, smiles_4vt.
We are a group of Virginia Tech students, staff, faculty and friends who
all lost loved ones during the 4-16-07 shootings. One of the things we
all miss very deeply is their 32 smiling faces. Those are gone. Yet it is our goal to send new smiles out into the world, to honor their memories.
This website will allow us to announce to our volunteers when we have
successfully donated the first smile to Operation Smile, and to keep track of further progress.
Our goal is 32 smile operations, in honor of our 32 dear friends, family
and colleagues. All help is welcome.
